Food Services

For the 2021-2022 school year, all Hicksville students will have access to free breakfast and/or free lunch under an amended National School Lunch Program policy. Additional ala carte items such as snacks and bottled water are not included in this program and require students to pay for them individually.

In October, Hicksville Schools will be transitioning to a new online payment system called My School Bucks. All negative and positive balances that were in Scholarchip will automatically be transferred to My School Bucks. In the meantime, money (cash or check) can be deposited on students’ accounts at the building level. All cash balances will also migrate over to My School Bucks.

All families who believe they may qualify for free or reduced price meals are strongly encouraged to complete a Free and Reduced Meal Application to ensure that when funding for this program ends, your child(ren) can still access nutritious free or reduced price meals without interruption. You can access the 2021-2022 school year application for free and reduced price meals by visiting the Hicksville website (www.hicksvillepublicschools.org), clicking Departments → Food Services → Free & Reduced Priced Meals on the left hand side of the page.

If you have any questions, please call your child’s building or the Business Office at 733-2110 Thank you for your support of the Hicksville Schools Food Service Program
